Selank TherapyA guide to care questions

A plain-language guide · The US position

What does the US record actually say?

If an offer points to an FDA database, it can look like permission. Before treating that as an answer, find out what kind of record it is.

There is no US approval to point to

Selank lacked both FDA drug approval and an official US drug label as of September 30, 2026.

On that same check, the US drug-code entries for Selank were raw ingredient powders, rather than finished medicines.

A drug code points to a listed entry; that entry gives no assurance of FDA product approval.

A withdrawn request is not permission

A pharmacist or doctor can tailor a medicine to one patient’s needs; this preparation is called compounding.

A request to consider Selank for pharmacy use appears on the FDA page, which was current as of April 22, 2026. The people or groups who submitted it took it back.

The FDA still warns that information about harm from Selank in people is missing. Taking back the request did not give pharmacies permission to use it.

As of September 30, 2026, Selank was missing from the legal list of extra pharmacy ingredients and from the FDA’s temporary review groups.

Our interpretation as of September 26, 2026 is that these rules prevent an ordinary pharmacy from legally making a patient’s Selank medicine.

If a service proposes Selank, ask: which law allows you to provide this exact product to me? A database screenshot does not answer that question.

Russia does not settle the US question

Selank was registered as a medicine in Russia. The information checked September 30, 2026 did not confirm whether Russia still allowed it.

That history does not create US approval.
